Oakwood Extra Care, in Telford Shropshire – is due for completion in April of this year. This modern, sustainable facility, provided on behalf of the Wrekin Housing Trust will provide 63 Extra Care units and help to meet a much needed retirement living need within the Shropshire County region. The 63 unit facility has integrated modern light gauged steel frame technology with sustainable energy and heating solutions, to produce a modern comfortable and affordable housing solution, combining generously sized living quarters with top of the range communal facilities; including a resident’s lounge and commercial restaurant and café.

Fellows’ Extra Care and Assisted Retirement Living schemes has grown consistently and ambitiously over 2015, having secured appointments with key clients such as; MHA, McCarthy & Stone, Fortis Living, Quantum Homes and the Wrekin Housing Trust. Indeed the completion of the Oakwood scheme is the first of a number of similar developments moving forward over the next 18 months.
