Following on from their successful Music school (PM’d by Fellows), BIMM expanded their Digbeth Campus over three years to cater to their Screen and Film School and Performers College (an independent Higher and Further Education College for the Performing Arts.)
Features
The Film School provides brand-new state-of-the-art film studios, screening rooms, Mac Labs, and editing suites. The Dance facilities consist of three large dance studios, acting and singing studios, a bespoke computer suite, and a physiotherapy treatment room.
Fellows Add Value:
Fellows Construction Consultants were appointed by BIMM and Oval (The Landlord) to act as the Project Manager and Cost Consultant for the Cat A and Cat B refurbishment of two existing buildings; due to time pressures, the Cat A & B works were constructed at the same time on a fast-track basis.
Fellows Construction Consultants provided the full range of pre and post-contract services on a One Stop basis including project management, the appointment of the design team, programming, cost planning, value engineering, tendering procedures, contract documentation, Employer’s Agent/Contract Administrator, monthly cost reporting and contractual advice.
