Description
Nehemiah Court is an existing block of 30 self-contained apartments catering to retirement living. The building will undergo a part refurbishment which will focus entirely on communal areas, in addition to a two-story extension of the existing lift shaft and corridor areas.

The Fellows team provided robust and detailed procurement advice during the initial stages of this project, to ensure that the procurement route and subsequent building contract suited the nature of the scheme and the client’s needs. This included the procurement of additional design advice and performance specifications to remove certain aspects of risk from the scheme prior to tender.
Robust value engineering has also been undertaken at a variety of stages, and has been key to the success of this development.
