Fellows are delighted to announce the completion of our works on Coventry College!
We were appointed by the College to act as the Cost Consultant and Employers Agent for the reconfiguration and refurbishment of an existing building to provide an Electric Vehicle Training Facility, which will now be able to train students on a range of electric vehicle skills such as working on charging points and batteries. Beyond this, we extended the current Bricklayer and Plasterer Training Centre and enclosed an existing storage shed to create a modern workshop.
We provided the full range services including: producing a feasibility cost, identifying potential main contractors, issuing tender packs, checking the tender once submitted to ensure they were compliant/like for like and value engineering. Working within the College’s budget restraints, we collaborated with Inside Limited to produce workable solutions to deliver what the College wanted.
Fellows ensured that the disruption to the College and its students was kept to a minimum and were able to accommodate several variations the College requested, with a small extension of time.
“Fellows have been an excellent partner for the College. They have been responsive and adaptable, assisting the College to achieve an excellent finished product and value for money. Of particular note is how Fellows assisted in overseeing the relationship and works with the main contractor, providing solutions to any challenges, managing costs and ensuring high quality of the building works.”
– Robert Moore, Chief Finance & Operating Officer
“Fellows provided an exceptional service for a largescale project for Coventry College which would not have been achieved without their procurement and project management experience and ability. All of the staff at Fellows are the epitome of professionalism and work exceptionally hard to make deadlines achievable. Without them on board, the project would not have been realised at Coventry College. Highly recommended.”
– Gemma Knott, Vice Principal
