BMet Transformation Project

We are pleased to announce Fellows appointment as Cost Consultant and Employer’s Agent for Birmingham Metropolitan College (BMet) on their “Transformation Project” which involves the refurbishment of three campuses – Matthew Boulton, James Watt, and Sutton Coldfield.

BMet is one of the largest further education colleges in the UK, providing a wide range of education, training, and apprenticeship courses across the West Midlands. They enrol around 20,000 students of all ages each year on full, part-time, and higher-education courses.

The works are centred around window, flooring, and ceiling replacements and internal decorations at the three colleges, as well as replacing mechanical and electrical equipment with more energy-efficient installations.

“We are delighted to appoint Fellows as the Cost Consultant and Employer’s Agent for BMet’s Transformation Project. With their extensive experience and expertise in cost consultancy and employer’s agent services, as well as their strong track record in education and FE, we are confident that they will help us to deliver this project successfully. The refurbishment of our three campuses is a significant undertaking, and we look forward to working with the team at Fellows to ensure that it is completed to the highest standards.”

– Andrew Crowter, Director of Estates at BMet

Works will commence on site on the 20th February 2023 and are due to be completed by November 2024.
