With the continued pressures associated with the COVID 19 pandemic, we are delighted to announce the start of the Moor Street and Turrall Street residential scheme in Worcester.
This development is being managed by Fellows Construction Consultants on behalf of Platform Housing Group. The scheme has been designed by DJD Group and will be constructed by Tricas Construction.
The project consists of the demolition of existing garages and the construction of residential dwellings for affordable rent dwellings on two infill sites. As with the nature of constricted sites, they are extremely confined and have numerous adjoining properties, but despite the difficulty of this project, Fellows are confident that Tricas will overcome the logistical and party wall issues with Fellows supervision.
Fellows have liaised closely with the Client and Contractor in order to enable a start on site with a slightly extended programme, in order to allow for the obeyance of the new social distancing rules. During the works Fellows and Tricas will continue to monitor the situation carefully should there be any ease of restrictions that would allow for an earlier completion.
The project will provide affordable two and five bedroom houses, with private parking and gardens, including 20% renewable energy sourcing for a more sustainable and eco-friendly development.
