Friday 1st July saw the second annual Fellows bike ride take place, just a day before a similar group of highly tuned athletes began the Tour de France. The theme for the day was clear (starting in Clent HILLS), with 47 miles of twisting country roads, hills and more hills through Worcestershire, Shropshire and Staffordshire.
Despite a few drops of rain, the weather was perfect for cycling, although it didn’t make the climbs any less difficult. Having successfully negotiated the 47 mile loop, all had burned enough calories to earn a pub lunch to discuss aching quads, tractor drivers and spectacular bike crashes.
Joining Matthew Fox and Tom Caesar were Tim Wade (Rooftop), Wayne Geldard (GHW), Jane Fradgley (Orbit), Andy Pearson (Patrick Parsons), Katie Kershaw (Node Urban Design) and Ben Burton (Shaylor).
