Description

The cornerstone of the Tolladine Regeneration scheme in Worcester, the project will deliver 16 flats, 7 houses, 2 bungalows for shared ownership and affordable rent alongside with 3 retail units.

Features

Existing houses and garages are to be demolished to 25 residential and 3 retail units including 20% renewable energy sourcing for a more sustainable and eco-friendly development. The difficulty of the project is that 2 of the existing retail tenants are to remain operating during the construction process, splitting the project into 2 phases.

Fellows Add Value:

Fellows were appointed at an early stage as Employer’s Agent and carried out the tendering process to ensure that the most experienced and cost-effective contractor was appointed to deliver the project. A Contractor, who understand the difficulty of a site with live tenants and takes due diligence of logistics and health and safety matters. Fellows role included cost, risk, design and management during the pre-contract period and will continue during the construction period to ensure the successful delivery of the final scheme in time and on budget.
