Fellows are pleased to announce that the development – Rapida, Kingswood Lakeside – located in the Kingswood Lakeside Business Park, Cannock was successfully completed in March 2019, ahead of schedule.
Fellows were appointed as Employer’s Agent and Cost Managers on behalf of Kay Properties Ltd (in conjunction with Trebor Developments) to deliver this unique speculative project in the centre of the Business Park.
The scheme involved substantial remediation and stabilization, which transformed the brownfield site into prime industrial and manufacturing land within the heart of the Black Country. The 102,000 sq. ft warehouse includes bespoke offices, 12m clear internal height, 10 dock loading doors, 2 ground level doors, a secure 50m service yard and 105 car park spaces.
Given the notable challenges on the project, Fellows collaborated closely with the developer and engaged with remediation specialists and local contractors to ensure that the scheme was completed on time, on budget and most importantly, to an excellent standard.
