Starting the week on a positive note with a great result – Connexus’ Radbrook Assisted Living development located in Shrewsbury, has completed a month ahead of programme.
This is the second assisted living building Fellows have delivered for Connexus as Project and Cost Managers, which comprises 22 units of affordable flats over two floors. The project team used lessons learnt from the previous build to improve upon and streamline the approach to the latest building. The superstructure was changed from a traditional build to a steel frame with timber infills, which helped speed up delivery and led to an easier distribution of the services throughout the building.
The finished result is a great looking building providing much needed affordable housing within the area. Congratulations to all those who worked alongside us on this project!
